Job summary

PF Changs China Bistro in Akron, OH is looking for a Backwaiter to support our restaurant team. You will deliver food to guests promptly, help maintain dining room cleanliness, and assist with service stations and takeout orders when needed.

No experience required—training is provided. You must be at least 18, able to stand and lift up to 30 lbs, and obtain a Food Handler’s Card where required. This is a full- and part-time hourly position with tips.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess or obtain a current Food Handler’s Card where applicable.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, balance, and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests efficiently and meet requests.
• Monitor expo line, run trays for dine-in, assist guests with questions.
• Clear and sanitize tables, seating, and floors per standards.
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to dishwashing area.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate coffee machines, iced tea machines, and POS systems.
• Interact courteously with guests and notify managers of issues.
• Follow company policies, dress code, and safety procedures.
• Assist with greeting, seating guests, answering phones, and packaging takeout orders.
