Job summary

PF Changs China Bistro in the United States is hiring Backwaiters. You will support restaurant operations by delivering meals to guests promptly, maintaining dining room cleanliness, and keeping service stations stocked and organized.

No prior experience is required and training is provided. Candidates must be 18+, carry a Food Handler’s Card where applicable, and be able to lift up to 30 lbs in a fast-paced team setting. Flexible scheduling available.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess or obtain a current Food Handler’s Card, where applicable.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, balance, and lift objects up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Excellent communication and composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests quickly and accurately; meet special requests.
• Monitor expo line, run trays for dine-in, assist guests with questions.
• Clear and sanitize tables, seating, and floors per standards.
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing station.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment and POS systems as required.
• Greet, seat guests, answer phones, and assist with takeout duties.
• Support beverage preparation and responsible alcohol service when needed.
