Job summary

PF Changs China Bistro in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring a Backwaiter to support restaurant operations by delivering food promptly, assisting with dining room cleanliness, and maintaining service stations. All team members provide excellent customer service to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

No prior experience is required; training is provided, you must be at least 18 years old and have a Food Handler's Card where applicable.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess or obtain a Food Handler's Card where applicable.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, balance, and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong multitasking and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests efficiently and meet requests.
• Monitor expo line, prepare trays for dine-in, assist guests with questions.
• Clear and sanitize tables, seating, and floors per standards.
• Transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing area.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate coffee/tea machines and POS systems as required.
• Interact courteously with guests and report quality concerns.
