Job summary

P.F. Chang’s China Bistro is hiring Backwaiters in Myrtle Beach. You will support restaurant operations by delivering meals promptly and courteously, help maintain dining room cleanliness, and keep service stations stocked and organized.

Training is provided and customer service is essential for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Role requires standing, lifting up to 30 lbs., and a dynamic, fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training is provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess or obtain a current Food Handler’s Card, where applicable.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, balance, and lift objects up to 30 lbs. repeatedly during a shift.
• Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Excellent communication and composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests efficiently and meet requests.
• Monitor expo line, run trays for dine-in, assist guests with questions.
• Clear and sanitize tables, seating, and floors per standards.
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing station.
• Restock and clean service stations.
• Operate coffee/tea machines and POS systems.
• Greet guests, seat patrons, answer phones, and assist with takeout packaging.
• Assist with beverage preparation and responsible alcohol service when required.
