Job summary

The Backwaiter at PF Chang's is responsible for supporting restaurant operations by delivering food to guests promptly and courteously, assisting with dining room cleanliness, and maintaining service stations. All team members must provide excellent customer service to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

No prior experience is required—training is provided. You must be at least 18 years old, may need a Food Handler’s Card where applicable, and must be able to stand, reach, bend and lift up to

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Food Handler’s Card where applicable.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, balance and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong multitasking in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Excellent communication and ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests efficiently and meet requests.
• Monitor expo line, run trays for dine-in, assist guests with questions.
• Clear and sanitize tables, seating and floors per standards.
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing station.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as coffee machines and POS systems.
• Interact courteously with guests and notify managers of issues.
• Follow company policies, dress code and safety procedures.
• Assist with greeting, seating guests, answering phones and packaging takeout orders.
• Support with beverage prep and responsible alcohol service when required.
