Job summary

Commvault is seeking a Sales Expert for its Backup Simple solution to drive independent, quota-bearing sales across North America. You will expand Commvault adoption within SoftwareOne’s existing customer base through cross-sell motions and identify net-new logos to address backup, recovery, cyber resilience, and data protection needs.

Responsibilities

• Own an individual sales number for Commvault Backup Simple across North America, responsible for pipeline creation and revenue.
• Proactively hunt for new opportunities within existing accounts and net-new logos.
• Develop direct prospecting plans including account targeting, outbound outreach, discovery, executive engagement, and deal strategy.
• Lead customer conversations to uncover business pain and map Commvault capabilities to priorities.
• Partner with Account Managers and solution specialists while owning the sales motion from prospecting to close.
• Create and manage a healthy funnel with forecasts, next steps and close plans.
• Use intelligence to position Commvault against competitors and alternatives in data protection.
• Engage stakeholders to remove blockers and accelerate deal cycles.
