Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a Sales Expert for Commvault’s Backup Simple in North America. You will independently create, develop, and close opportunities across the region, expanding adoption within existing accounts and winning net-new logos.

Travel up to 30% is required, with a focus on backup, recovery, and data protection outcomes. You will build pipeline through disciplined prospecting, consultative selling, and executive engagement, partnering with account managers and specialists to drive

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT sales, cloud, backup, data protection, or managed services.
• Proven track record as a proactive hunter, with pipeline creation and net-new wins.
• Strong executive communication, discovery, negotiation, and deal orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Own an individual sales number for Commvault Backup Simple across North America, including pipeline creation and closed revenue.
• Hunt for new opportunities within existing SoftwareOne accounts and net-new logos.
• Develop direct prospecting plans, engage executives, qualify and discover needs, and close deals.
