Job summary

Forman Mills Inc is seeking a Back End Supervisor to oversee Receiving and backroom functions. You will manage processing all merchandise to the sales floor, ensure 24-hour door-to-floor execution, and lead a team to meet efficiency and accuracy standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating freight flow, tagging, inventory management, and ensuring a high level of customer service on the sales floor. This role requires strong leadership and daily collaboration with store management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of managing a freight processing environment in a retail setting.
• Excellent people skills and ability to lead a team.
• High energy, hands-on leader with a supervisory mindset.
• Willingness to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed Cartons per Hour (CPH) and Door to Floor (DTF) targets.
• Ensure 24-hour door-to-floor standards are met.
• Schedule backroom staffing to workload while staying at or under budgeted hours.
• Direct and inspect all incoming and outgoing freight with proper tagging.
• Maintain backroom areas (damage/mismates/signing room) and organize stockrooms.
• Manage excess fixture inventory for efficient placement.
• Review daily productivity of processors and record team performance.
• Counsel and discipline personnel in partnership with the Store Manager.
• Lead daily backroom huddle, set goals, recognize top performers and coach underperformers.
• Ensure adherence to company initiatives like freight processing, housekeeping, and supplies management.
