Job summary

Marshalls, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., seeks a team member for our San Antonio store who executes receiving and merchandising standards while delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will work with peers to maintain a clean, organized store and train Associates on merchandising and processing.

Ideal candidates have 1 year in retail, 6 months in leadership, strong communication, and the ability to multitask. Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to train others.
• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Executes receiving and merchandising standards and ensures efficiency.
• Engages with customers to deliver an excellent shopping experience and keeps store tidy.
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure flow of goods to the sales floor.
• Supports store shrink reduction goals and safety programs.
• Promotes loyalty programs and credit participation.
