Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Hyannis, MA is seeking a Support Merchandiser to execute receiving and merchandising standards and ensure a superior customer experience. You will work with a team to process shipments, stock the floor, and maintain organized backrooms.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of retail experience, 6 months of leadership exposure, and strong communication skills. A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation.
• Team player who can train others.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards and ensure Associates process efficiently and effectively.
• Orchestrate truck delivery and prioritize merchandise processing to the sales floor.
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, and coded; maintain backroom upkeep.
• Communicate with management to ensure flow of goods to the floor.
• Promote safety, compliance with labor laws, and adherence to policies.
