Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is hiring for a Sierra store role in Rockford, IL. You will execute receiving and merchandising standards, ensure efficient processing, and foster a positive customer experience in a busy retail environment.

You will train Associates, manage merchandise flow from trucks to floor, and uphold safety, integrity, and store policies while collaborating with management to meet goals. This position may involve nights and weekends and physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Executes receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing.
• Engages with customers to provide an excellent experience and maintains store cleanliness.
• Orchestrates truck deliveries and prioritizes merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Maintains backroom organization and replenishment processes.
• Communicates with management to set priorities and provide progress updates.
• Supports safety, labor law compliance, and store shrink reduction programs.
