Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. seeks a Retail Associate for the Sierra store in Mattoon, IL. You’ll deliver a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, maintaining a clean sales floor, and supporting store operations across areas as needed.

You’ll model service excellence, promote loyalty programs, and help protect store standards while complying with labor laws. Prior retail experience is a plus; training is provided.

• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
• Maintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adheres to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
