Job summary

HomeGoods at The TJX Companies, Inc. in Orlando is seeking a Store Associate to execute receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring Associates process efficiently and deliver an excellent customer experience.

You will train teammates, tag and stock merchandise, maintain backroom organization, and uphold safety and program standards while supporting store goals and customer service.

The role requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and prior retail or leadership experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation
• Team player who can train others

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards.
• Ensure Associates are processing efficiently and effectively.
• Provide an excellent customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean store.
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Tag, hang, stock, and code merchandise accurately.
• Coordinate with management to ensure smooth flow of goods to the sales floor.
• Maintain backroom organization and safety standards.
• Promote and support credit and loyalty programs.
• Assist in shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
