The Fresh Market is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to lead backroom accuracy and inventory integrity. You will ensure product dating, cooler/freezer compliance, and days-on-hand targets while upholding SOPs and store standards.

This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to exceptional guest service in a fast-paced store environment. You will collaborate with departments to optimize deliveries, maintain accurate records for beer, wine, and spirits, and support

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2+ years in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• 1–2 years coordinating teams.
• Ability to work in cold, wet, and physically demanding environments.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, multitasking, and fast pace.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with department managers to oversee inbound/outbound deliveries and support inventory planning, product rotation, and ordering to ensure efficiency and availability.
• Monitor and maintain days-on-hand inventory targets for all departments.
• Maintain beer, wine, and spirits inventory records and comply with laws.
• Enforce store receiving protocols, including vendor security and backroom access control.
• Verify deliveries, truck seals, and electronic invoices with accurate processing and credit handling.
• Partner with distribution and merchandising teams to resolve invoice, quantity, and quality discrepancies.
• Serve as primary contact for Maintenance Dispatch Center to track equipment repairs.
