The Fresh Market is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure backroom accuracy, inventory integrity, and accurate vendor receiving. You will manage product dating, alcohol inventory compliance, days-on-hand targets, and uphold SOPs for store operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• 1–2 years of experience coordinating teams.
• Ability to work in cold, wet, and physically demanding environments.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound and outbound deliveries, including documentation and follow-ups.
• Support inventory planning, product rotation, and ordering to ensure efficiency and availability.
• Maintain days-on-hand targets for all departments.
• Keep beer, wine, and spirits inventory records compliant with laws.
• Enforce store receiving protocols and backroom access control.
• Verify deliveries, truck seals, and electronic invoices for accuracy.
• Enter and track equipment repairs via Maintenance Dispatch Center.
• Provide courteous interactions with vendors, team members, and guests.
