Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Scheduler to coordinate purchase orders, communicate with vendors and drivers, and prepare shipment paperwork in a fast-paced distribution environment.

This role supports the daily transportation operations from an office setting and ensures accurate backhaul documentation. The ideal candidate can maintain records, manage pallet counts, and follow safety guidelines while contributing to a collaborative logistics team in

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and organized.
• Ability to maintain written records and forms in a timely manner.
• Strong knowledge of routes and transportation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and follow through of POs to be picked up by the driver.
• Communicate with vendors, buyers, dispatchers, and drivers to ensure on-time pickup.
• Prepare load details, manifests and labels for drivers.
• Deliver packets to Transportation or Receiving offices.
• Maintain daily/weekly recap summaries and backhaul documentation.
