AFFIRM's Streaming team is responsible for data infrastructure and event-driven architecture, driving discovery, validation, and scalability. We leverage Kafka, Flink, Schema Registry, and AWS, building custom tools when needed to push data to the right teams.

As a software engineer, you will break down large projects into tasks, collaborate with product, design and analytics, and deliver features in phases with clear, well-tested code.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems.
• Proficient in Python or Kotlin.
• Familiar with distributed systems concepts.

Responsibilities

• Break down projects into tasks and deliver in phases.
• Collaborate with product, design & analytics in ideation and decision-making.
