AFFIRM's Streaming team drives data infrastructure for event-driven architectures, stream processing, data exploration, discovery and validation. You will design and launch backend systems in Python or Kotlin, working with AWS, Kafka, Flink and Kubernetes in a distributed setup.

This remote-first role emphasizes ownership, collaboration across product, design, and analytics, and a strong focus on reliable, well-tested code.

Competenze

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Proficient in Python or Kotlin for backend systems.
• Experience with distributed systems and tools like AWS, Kafka, Flink, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to design solutions that involve multiple components and come with thorough tests.
• Comfortable navigating large code bases and contributing via code reviews.
• Demonstrated ownership and proactive growth.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
