Job summary

Quevera seeks a Backend Software Engineer with AWS DevOps experience and an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to support mission-critical programs in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

You will develop, maintain, test, and support backend software within an Agile environment, using AWS, Git, and languages such as Java, C++, or Python, plus relational databases and SQL. Telework up to 16 hours/week may be available depending on sprint tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 14 years of software engineering experience on similar programs.
• Experience with AWS and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Git, Java, C++, or Python.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL.
• Experience in Agile development and Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, enhance, test, and support backend software in AWS environments.
• Apply DevOps practices to integration, testing, deployment, and process improvement.
• Design, code, debug, and modify software to meet requirements.
• Develop data queries and interfaces for databases and repositories.
• Collaborate in an Agile team with Jira and Confluence.
