Job summary

Vannevar is building the next generation of mission software for national security. This role focuses on the Security Platform team, owning authentication, authorization, and identity infrastructure to ensure the right people access the right resources.

You will drive core platform permission infrastructure, lead critical projects, and collaborate across engineers, compliance, and stakeholders to define standards and secure data. This is a US-permissible, high-impact opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Drive implementation, adoption, and evolution of core platform permission infrastructure and shared services.
• Lead mission-critical projects to build and scale foundational platform auth capabilities.
• Partner with engineers to standardize security platform solutions addressing cross-product challenges.
• Collaborate with compliance and stakeholders to define and enforce access control, data protection, and integrity standards.
• Influence architecture, technology selection, and engineering standards across the company.
• Grow engineering skills by solving high-impact problems in security platform and infra systems.
