Job summary

Spinwheel is seeking a hands-on Senior Security Engineer to own the technical security posture of our platform, infrastructure, and AI-driven systems. You will harden infrastructure, close vulnerabilities, and build guardrails for safe AI-driven workflows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on security engineering experience.
• Exceptional knowledge of the AWS ecosystem.
• Experience identifying and remediating vulnerabilities in live production systems.
• Self-starter mindset with ability to drive projects in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong communication skills to explain security issues to engineers.

Responsibilities

• Secure and harden cloud infrastructure, applications, APIs, and workflows.
• Implement and maintain security controls across production environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Remediate vulnerabilities and promote secure development practices with engineering teams.
• Ensure encryption, secrets management, logging, monitoring, and access controls are robust.
• Design security architecture across cloud-native and distributed systems; build scalable security processes.
