Job summary

Vannevar is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Security Platform team. In this critical role, you will drive the strategy and execution of authentication, authorization, and access management systems across our products.

Your leadership will shape an agile team of engineers, ensuring high-impact capabilities while maintaining security and usability. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in software engineering and a commitment to developing security-focused infrastructures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing software engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, access control, and secure system design.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience building and operating scalable, reliable distributed systems.
• Demonstrated ability to partner closely with stakeholders to balance needs and priorities.
• Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and make sound tradeoffs.
• Excellent communication skills and a track record of driving alignment.
