Job summary

Keeper Security is seeking a QA Analyst for the Keeper App, focusing on backend quality across APIs, services and databases that power enterprise products like EPM, Vault and Admin Console. The role emphasizes data integrity, RESTful API testing and cloud-based backend validation.

The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, API testing experience and familiarity with microservices, AWS and modern delivery practices, working remotely with a hybrid option for eligible locations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA/testing with strong backend and API focus.
• Strong SQL skills and data validation experience.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI).
• Familiarity with backend microservices, AWS and cloud environments.
• Proficient in Jira, TestRail, Confluence and Agile workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• U.S. Person due to GovCloud involvement.

Responsibilities

• Design, document and execute test cases for backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Validate database queries and data integrity across workflows.
• Perform functional, regression and integration testing on backend components.
• Use tools like Postman, REST Assured or SoapUI to validate API behavior and support automated testing.
• Test performance, scalability and fault tolerance across distributed cloud environments.
• Collaborate with engineers, Product and QA to identify and resolve defects.
• Track defects in Jira and maintain QA docs in Confluence; report via TestRail.
• Contribute automated backend/API test coverage to CI/CD workflows.
• Ensure testing supports Keeper’s security and compliance requirements.
