Speechify in Rochester, NY is seeking a Platform Software Engineer to design, build, and own the backend APIs for payments, subscriptions, auth, and the public TTS API. You will work on systems serving millions of users across web, iOS, Android, and extensions.

You'll automate, optimize for cost and reliability, and collaborate with product, mobile, and web teams to keep backend architecture ahead of product needs.

Qualifications

• Proven backend experience in TS/Node.
• Direct experience with GCP; AWS/Azure knowledge a plus.
• Comfort with automation and AI agent tools.
• Experience deploying on Kubernetes.
• Ability to design scalable APIs.
