Client in the Retail & Consumer Goods space is seeking a Backend Platform Engineer to own backend services powering a consumer-facing product. You’ll focus on reliability, scale, and operational excellence from a remote location, collaborating with security, privacy, and engineering teams to deliver a high-quality experience for families.

For our client, we are seeking a Backend Platform Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space. This role will focus on the backend systems that support a consumer-facing product experience, with an emphasis on reliability, scale, and operational excellence. You will own critical service components that power request handling, real-time connectivity, and release readiness for server-side services. The position also partners closely with security, privacy, and engineering stakeholders to support a high-quality product experience for families.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $136,700 – $182,300 annually
