Job summary

Tebra is seeking a talented and enthusiastic SDE1 Back-End Engineer to lead the development of our next-generation Practice Management platform. This role focuses on designing architectural solutions and maintaining critical services essential to operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1+ years of software development experience.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented programming concepts, data structures and algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to optimize performance, and scalability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Preferred: experience with Spring, version control, and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and maintainable software applications using Spring Boot, Java, and cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to architect robust and scalable solutions that meet business requirements.
• Design, implement, and advocate for critical services that serve as foundational building blocks for product features, and improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices for clean, maintainable code.
• Ensure high-quality code standards and contribute to the continuous evolution of our technology stack.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Continuously research and apply emerging technologies and industry best practices to improve the development process and product quality.
• Use AI tools to support the software development process.
