TEKsystems seeks an established Java Developer to join a high-performing technology team supporting business-critical platforms and enterprise applications. You will design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java and Spring Boot, building scalable APIs and integrations for core workflows.

The role emphasizes production support, architecture discussions, and collaboration with product owners and QA teams to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java development experience building enterprise applications.
• Expertise with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and backend system design.
• Strong Oracle database experience including SQL development, data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Experience supporting large-scale, business-critical applications.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design principles, software architecture, and development best practices; experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production support.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support enterprise-grade backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable APIs, integrations, and distributed services that support critical business workflows.
