Amazon.com LLC in Bellevue, WA is seeking backend engineers to build the next generation of integrated development experiences for analysts, data scientists, and data engineers. This role focuses on ML and analytics within a new AWS service and involves shaping product features, architecture, and best practices.

You will deliver key features for an interactive ML application and collaborate with AWS teams while engaging customers and partners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
• 1+ years of software engineering experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, distributed software applications.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented design experience.
• Experience programming in at least one language from the listed stack.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field.
• Preferred: 3+ years SDLC, code reviews, source control, builds, testing, operations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with UX designers and product managers to develop friendly UI experiences.
• Work closely with other engineers to architect and develop the best technical design.
• Develop/maintain operational rigor for the frontend of a new AWS service.
• Own and deliver key features within a new interactive ML application
• Collaborate with other AWS SDEs for features that cut across AWS.
• Engage with customers and other AWS partners.
