Job summary

Amazon in Bellevue, WA is seeking talented back-end engineers to help build the next generation of integrated development experiences for analysts, data engineers, and scientists focused on ML and analytics.

As a back-end engineer, you will drive deliverables, influence product features, shape system architecture, and collaborate with UX designers, PMs, and other engineers to deliver a scalable, interactive ML application.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience on large systems.
• 1+ years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services for a new AWS ML/Analytics application.
• Collaborate with UX designers and product managers to build friendly UI experiences.
• Own and deliver key features within a new interactive ML application.
• Architect and develop the best technical design with other engineers.
• Engage with customers and other AWS partners to align on requirements.
