Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a back-end engineer to help build the next generation of integrated development experiences for analysts, data scientists and data engineers.

You'll drive features, influence architecture, and set best practices for a new ML-powered AWS service, with opportunities for mentorship and growth in a hybrid work model across US offices. Based in Bellevue, WA, you will join a team that blends in-person collaboration with flexible remote work.

Qualifications

• 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Work closely with UX designers and product managers to develop friendly UI experiences.
• Work closely with other engineers to architect and develop the best technical design.
• Develop/maintain operational rigor for the frontend of a new AWS service.
• Own and deliver key features within a new interactive ML application
• Collaborate with other AWS SDEs for features that cut across AWS.
• Engage with customers and other AWS partners.
