Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer II for the SageMaker Unified Studio in Bellevue, WA. You will contribute to back-end engineering for an integrated ML development experience, shaping architecture and delivering key features for data scientists and engineers.

You will collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and other SDEs, ensuring scalable, reliable systems and high-quality software across multi-tiered components in a fast-paced cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 1+ years of design or architecture (patterns, reliability, scaling) experience.
• 1+ years of developing large-scale, multi-threaded software using languages such as C#, C++, Java or Perl.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with UX designers and product managers to develop friendly UI experiences.
• Architect and develop the best technical design with other engineers.
• Develop/maintain operational rigor for the frontend of a new AWS service.
• Own and deliver key features within a new interactive ML application.
• Collaborate with other AWS SDEs for cross-service features.
• Engage with customers and other AWS partners.
