Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Engineer to help build a large-scale ML platform within the Personalize team. You will architect and develop distributed systems, collaborating with product managers, scientists and fellow engineers to deliver production-ready solutions that impact millions of customers.

In this senior role, you will design and implement scalable storage, indexing and query tech, participate in design reviews and deliver high-quality software in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for large-scale systems.
• Experience programming with at least one programming language.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
• Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
• Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
• Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
• Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
