Job summary

BeaconFire Inc. seeks a backend software engineer to develop scalable and production-ready services. You will build RESTful APIs, work with SQL and NoSQL databases, and apply OOP, data structures, and algorithms to solve complex problems.

You will participate in Agile/Scrum teams, perform testing and deployment support, and explore Generative AI integration with Spring AI and LangChain4j to deliver AI-powered features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience with one or more OOP programming languages, including Java, C++, C#, Kotlin, or similar languages.
• Good understanding of common data structures and programming concepts.
• Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability and willingness to transition into Java-based backend development.
• Interest in learning and applying Generative AI and LLM technologies.
