Job summary

BeaconFire is seeking a Software Engineer - Backend to build scalable, production-ready backend applications and AI-powered features. You will implement RESTful services, work with SQL and NoSQL databases, and apply strong OOP principles within an Agile environment.

The role involves integrating Generative AI, building RAG pipelines, and using Spring AI/LangChain4j with AI models. Relocation within the United States is supported for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Comp Eng/IT or related field.
• Strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience with Java, C++, C#, Kotlin or similar languages.
• Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Backend Software Development and production-ready services.
• Build RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases and SQL data management.
• Apply OOP, data structures, and algorithms to solve problems.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable code and perform testing.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices.
