Job summary

BeaconFire is seeking motivated Software Engineers to build scalable backend applications and AI-powered solutions, with Java as the primary backend environment. This role focuses on backend development and Generative AI integration.

Candidates with experience in Java, C++, C#, Kotlin, or other object-oriented languages are encouraged to apply. You will work on RESTful APIs, databases, and collaborate within Agile teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering/IT or related field.
• Strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience with one or more OOP languages including Java, C++, C#, Kotlin, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable and production-ready backend applications and services.
• Build RESTful APIs and backend services using modern software engineering practices.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases and SQL-based data management.
• Apply OOP, data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams throughout the SDLC and document deployments.
• Support production deployment, monitoring/observability, CI/CD, security, and performance.
