Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Backend Engineer for the AppCore stacks within Platform. You will build and operate stack orchestration, reconciliation, and rollout tooling that powers Grafana Cloud environments across regions and services.

You will own critical workflows, improve runbooks, dashboards, and alerts, and collaborate with product, Hosted Grafana, and infrastructure teams. A strong emphasis on reliability, scalability, and developer experience guides every decision.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of fully remote work experience.
• Experience with SaaS platforms and distributed systems concepts (scalability, multi-tenancy, HA).
• Professional experience with Golang.
• Care deeply about developer and user experience and the quality of products.
• Experience delivering projects from brainstorm to shipping a product.
• Writes clean, well-tested software.
• Can break down tasks and execute iteratively.
• Willing to collaborate across teams and align with needs of other squads.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience participating in blameless incident response and post-incident reviews.

Responsibilities
