Job summary

Grafana is hiring a Backend Engineer for Grafana Cloud, a fully managed observability platform trusted by thousands of organizations. This remote-first role requires strong backend experience, Kubernetes familiarity, and a focus on reliability and developer experience.

You will own production behavior of systems, write scalable code, and coordinate across product, platform, and business operations. Global time-zone collaboration is common.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Golang and building backend services for SaaS platforms.
• Experience with distributed systems concepts (scalability, multi-tenancy, HA).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud-native tooling, and IaC practices.

Responsibilities

• Write efficient, maintainable backend code for the Grafana Cloud stack.
• Build new microservices and system capabilities for stack management and provisioning.
• Collaborate across teams to align on roadmaps and rollout plans.
• Participate in follow-the-sun OnCall rotation and incident response.
