Job summary

Grafana Labs in Spain (remote) is seeking a Backend Engineer to join the AppCore Stacks squad, building and operating the stack state, reconciliation, and provisioning workflows for Grafana Cloud.

You will work across Kubernetes, cloud regions, and SaaS provisioning, delivering reliable platform services while collaborating with product, infrastructure, and customer-facing teams. Remote-friendly, globally distributed, with RSUs and 30 days leave.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of fully remote work experience.
• Experience with SaaS platforms and distributed systems concepts.
• Professional experience with Golang.
• Kubernetes in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Care about developer and user experience and product quality.
• Experience delivering projects from idea to shipping.

Responsibilities

• Write efficient, maintainable code for backend services.
• Build and operate new microservices or systems.
• Collaborate across teams to align solutions.
• Coordinate with product and UX when needed.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
• Contribute to roadmap planning and design decisions.
