Job summary

Hostaway ищет опытного Backend Engineer для разработки и поддержки бэкенд-сервисов на PHP и Go. Вы будете выделять границы монолита и определять миграционные пути, сотрудничать с PM, проектировать API и повышать производительность frontend-коллег.

Требуется опыт работы с высоконагруженными системами, архитектурными подходами (DDD, событийно-ориентированная архитектура) и навыками использования AI-инструментов кода. Предусмотрены акции компании и прочие льготы.

• Комфортное использование инструментов ИИ в кодировании

Описание

Hostaway provides an AI-powered vacation rental management platform for professional short-term rental operators. It connects property managers with major booking platforms and supports greater efficiency and faster growth.

Задачи

• Design, build, and operate backend services in PHP and Go Drive service extraction from the monolith by defining boundaries, ownership, and migration paths
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to shape technical direction and maximize the value of backend services
• Design and ship APIs for agentic interfaces, making the guest-facing domain accessible to AI agents and automated workflows
• Improve page speed and end-to-end performance in collaboration with frontend peers
• Contribute to high-level architectural decisions while enabling fast delivery without accumulating technical debt
• Use AI to accelerate code delivery

Требования

• 6+ Years of experience as a Backend Engineer and a strong software engineering foundation
• Strong proficiency in PHP and/or Golang, with willingness to work with both
• Experience designing and operating high-traffic, customer-facing systems
• Experience decomposing monoliths or extracting services, with a pragmatic approach to when to do so
• Experience designing clear, versioned, consumable APIs using REST, GraphQL, or similar
• Familiarity with event-driven service-oriented architectures and Domain Driven Design (DDD)
• Comfortable using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot in daily work
• Будет плюсом: experience building APIs for AI agents or LLM-driven clients, AWS experience, experience with message queues such as AWS SQS
