Job description

Описание: Andersen’s project is developing a global digital platform for the insurance and assistance industry. It supports travel, automotive, health, and assistance services with scalable solutions designed to improve customer experience and streamline business operations.

Задачи:

• Build and evolve a real-time cross-selling platform with real-time data flows and personalized offer business logic in an insurance context
• Own the backend powering multiple user-facing apps and advance the gRPC-based microservice architecture
• Design and maintain REST/gRPC APIs integrating with core insurance platforms and third-party services, including risk scoring, KYC, and payments
• Model and manage transactional PostgreSQL data, including policies, claims, customer records, and audit trails
• Implement reliable event-driven workflows using RabbitMQ or Kafka for claims events, policy updates, and notifications
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests, focusing on monetary calculations and claims and premium accuracy
• Instrument services with Grafana and Prometheus to monitor critical flows and proactively detect issues
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high platform and codebase quality
• Contribute proactively to platform design and development, emphasizing scalability, availability, and resilience
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, and DevOps in an Agile/Scrum framework to translate changing business and regulatory requirements into technical solutions
• Contribute to architectural decisions balancing flexibility for multiple consuming apps with long-term maintainability and fault tolerance

• 7+ Years of commercial development experience, including 5+ years working with Go in production
• Higher education in Computer Science or software development
• Extensive experience working with AI and implementing or configuring it within a team
• Experience in fintech and banking domains, including complex integrations
• Strong hands‑on Go experience, including concurrency with goroutines and channels
• Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining production‑grade gRPC microservice architectures
• Experience containerizing and deploying backend services
• Strong PostgreSQL skills, including schema design, query optimization, and database migrations
• Hands‑on experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka for event‑driven and asynchronous communication
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
• Practical experience writing unit and integration tests for backend services
• Experience instrumenting services with Grafana and Prometheus, including metrics collection, monitoring, and alerting
• Experience designing scalable, highly available systems for high‑throughput, real‑time workloads
• Active participation in code reviews, with a focus on code quality and knowledge sharing
• Ownership mindset and ability to take end‑to‑end responsibility for backend components throughout their lifecycle
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong understanding of fault‑tolerant system design, idempotency, SLA considerations, and service reliability
• English proficiency at Upper‑Intermediate level or above
