Thomson Reuters is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Litigation Drafting team in the United States. You will build AI-powered backend features, design scalable services with Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL, and work on agentic workflows and LLM orchestration.

Formación

• 1-3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Working knowledge of Python, and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent debugging skills and ability to deliver production-ready, highly reliable systems.
• Cross-functional collaboration in fast-paced environments with strong communication.
• Evidence of fast learning and self-taught achievements.

Responsabilidades

• Build and ship AI Agentic features end to end from requirements to production.
• Design and build backend services using Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL for real-time AI interactions.
• Productionize AI capabilities by integrating with LLM providers and ensuring reliable orchestration, routing, error handling, telemetry, and observability.
• Apply AI tooling to development work and translate business requirements into AI-enabled solutions.
• Diagnose and fix issues by reading unfamiliar code, performing root-cause analysis, and addressing production behavior.
• Contribute to automated testing strategies and CI/CD pipelines to improve feature quality.
• Collaborate across Product, Design, and Labs teams in agile ceremonies.
• Mentor teammates by sharing learnings and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
