Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is hiring a Back Plant Operator-1 to oversee the safe, efficient operation of industrial systems at our Dickerson, MD site. You will perform inspections, troubleshoot equipment, and document findings in line with facility procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and experience operating heavy industrial equipment. A rotating shift and commitment to safety are essential components of this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience operating heavy industrial equipment is required.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned operational tasks and inspections using designated industrial equipment and tools.
• Complete routine inspections and document details per facility procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report issues via work orders.
• Use weekly activity books and checklists to perform function checks.
• Safely perform lock-out/tag-out processes to support maintenance teams.
• Additional duties as needed to ensure safe and efficient operations.
