Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is seeking a Back Plant Operator to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operations of industrial disposal processes. You will operate heavy machinery, perform routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and assist with lock-out/tag-out procedures as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license, with rotating day and night shifts. Excellent benefits, including health care, 401(k) matching, and tuition reimbursement,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• GED Works – Reworld’s fully funded GED program for employees.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned operational tasks and inspections using designated industrial equipment and tools.
• Complete routine inspections and document details per facility procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report issues via defined work orders.
• Use weekly activity books and checklists to perform function checks.
• Safely perform lock-out/tag-out procedures in support of maintenance teams.
• Assume additional duties to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
