Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is seeking an Auxiliary Operator-2 to join our Dickerson facility. You will operate and inspect power plant systems and auxiliary equipment, ensuring safe, efficient operations in a heavy industrial setting.

You will monitor meters, read data, manage fuel mixtures, and perform sampling and testing as required, while adhering to safety procedures and using mobile equipment as needed. A rotating shift schedule is required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect power plant systems in accordance with safety operating procedures, including boilers, air pollution control, ash systems and heavy industrial equipment.
• Monitor and inspect boiler plant auxiliary equipment such as pumps, motors, fans, dampers, air compressors, valves and conveyors.
• Read meters and gauges to identify trends or disruptions affecting operations.
• Safely operate heavy industrial mobile equipment including cranes, skid steers, loaders and forklifts.
• Maintain correct refuse-fuel levels and appropriate mix in pits and operation areas.
• Perform sampling, chemistry testing, and water treatment as required.
• Other duties to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
