Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Back Plant Operator to ensure safe, efficient operations of industrial systems and equipment at our Dickerson, MD facilities. You will perform inspections, troubleshoot equipment, and support maintenance using lock-out/tag-out procedures.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license. Experience with heavy industrial equipment, lifting up to 50 lbs, and rotating 12-hour shifts is needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience operating heavy industrial equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned operational tasks and inspections utilizing various types of designated industrial equipment and hand/power tools.
• Complete routine inspections and document details per facility procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report issues and repair requests via defined work orders.
• Use weekly activity books and critical items checklists for function checks.
• Safely perform lock-out/tag-out processes in support of maintenance teams.
• Additional duties to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
