Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking a Back Plant Operator in the United States (New York area) to safely operate the process plant and support fuel feed for boiler operations. The role involves daily pre-operational checks, operating heavy equipment, and coordinating with the shift supervisor to ensure continuous operation.

You will work rotating 12-hour shifts days and nights, with a benefits package starting on day one and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to operate a front loader or other heavy equipment.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and CDL Class B license are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (front end loaders) to feed RDF material and support full-load boiler operation.
• Oversee loading of non-ferrous metals into transport trailers.
• Perform daily pre-operational inspections and log sheets for equipment and fuel feed conveyors.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderly work area; report malfunctions and assist with maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout and wear required PPE.
