Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Back Plant Operator in Florida to ensure safe, efficient operation of the power generation fuel feed systems. You will feed RDF material with front-end loaders, monitor conveyors, and support boiler operations on rotating shifts.

The role requires a CDL Class B, reading and speaking English, and the ability to perform pre-operational checks, lockout/tagout, and routine maintenance tasks. We offer comprehensive benefits and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class B License required.
• Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to operate a Front Loader or heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment front end loaders to feed RDF material onto fuel feed systems.
• Oversee loading of non-ferrous metals into transport trailers.
• Work in ash house and maintain ash house equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area.
• Conduct daily pre-operational inspections and log sheets.
• Perform weekly/monthly checks as required.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report faults to supervisor.
• Maintain proper fuel, lubricant, and oil levels.
• Lockout/Tagout for maintenance activities.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisor.
