Job summary

Panoramic Health seeks a Back Office Medical Assistant to perform administrative and clinical tasks in a physician office. You will greet patients, verify benefits, schedule visits, collect copays, room patients, and assist with exams under supervision.

The ideal candidate completes an accredited Medical Assistant program, holds or pursues CMA/AAMA certification, and has clerical and EHR experience, including athenaClinicals. Prior nephrology/dialysis exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current CMA/AAMA certification or equivalent preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant medical assistant experience in a physician office.
• Broad understanding of clinical operations and physician office practice.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and completes check-in/out accurately.
• Answers calls, schedules appointments, and manages clinical inboxes in athenaClinicals.
• Rooms patients, takes vitals, medications reconciliation, and documents in athenaClinicals.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures; prepare for labs and imaging.
• Process requests for medical records and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Maintain office cash transactions and assist with payment batches when required.
