Job summary

Accelerated Urgent Care in California is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant (Back Office) to support providers with patient intake, vitals, and procedures in a fast-paced clinic. You will take patient vitals, document accurately, and assist during exams while maintaining a patient-centered approach.

In this role you will manage lab orders, assist with examinations, and help maintain clinic flow using our EHR and practice management software.

Qualifications

• Must have Medical Assistant Diploma from an accredited program.
• Excellent customer service and professional communication.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant medical office experience.
• Knowledge of multi-line phone systems and basic computer skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Take patient vitals and document accurately.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures.
• Chaperone for patient exams and maintain sterile technique.
• Manage patient flow and clinic scheduling.
• Process orders for labs/imaging and document results.
