Job summary

Family Health Care Centers of Greater Los Angeles is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient flow in the Back Office. You will assist providers, perform charting, vitals, and phlebotomy as needed, and ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced clinic.

The role requires CPR certification, bilingual English/Spanish, and proficiency with NextGen EHR. You will maintain HIPAA compliance, coordinate referrals, and contribute to high-quality care for underserved communities.

Qualifications

• Certificate required for Medical Assistant role.
• CPR certification current and maintained.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; strong communication.
• Experience with NextGen EHR and basic MS Office.
• Ability to travel or cover multiple departments when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with examinations and patient flow.
• Capture vital signs and document in EHR.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate referrals and schedule tests as needed.
